Supply of 11 kV Switchear for Transmission Substations, DEWA – Dubai
IMPACT: Excellent reference as supplier for a well-know and technically sophisticated Utility in the Middle East market.
PRODUCT: Pre-Qualified factory in Western Europe, specific development of customized cubicles for DEWA requirements.
FUNCTION/REFERENCES: Design, manufacture and supply of several 11kV switchgears for 132/11kV Substations for DEWA direct operation and for Top Developer projects. More than 500 cubicles are being supplied.
Haute Durance, France
IMPACT: Renewal of the high voltage transmission lines in the northern valley of the Haute-Durance – French Alps.
PRODUCT: Efacec set up a small factory and a high voltage lab, on site, to assemble and test three 170 MVA power transformers, at the Alps – Haute-Durance, L’Argentière and Pralong substations.
FUNCTION/ REFERENCES: This renovation program of the Haute-Durance power grid will provide sustainable security for the region’s power supply, considering the needs of the valley and contribute to its dynamism.
Integrated Control Systems for 18 substations, EWA, Bahrain
IMPACT: This is part of an investment program to face the increase of power demand in the country.
PRODUCT: Supply of the ICS for 18 66/11 kV substations. Efacec is supplying all the local supervision and control system (with redundant architecture) for the substations, including all the acquisition units, Ethernet network, gateways for interconnection with the Control Centre, and a local operation facility based on Efacec HMI solution. Efacec products included in the scope of supply are: bay control units (BCU 500), station servers (UC 500), operator interface.
